Ben is one of the regions’ most highly regarded Family Lawyers with more than 16 years experience, regularly appearing as both a Solicitor and Barrister in the Family Court and Federal Magistrates Court. Ben’s cases range from the very large settlement matters through to smaller, sensitively managed amicable agreements.

Ben has also excelled in compensation matters since 1994. He is a key member of SLL’s expert compensation team and calls on a strong database of medico-legal doctors and barristers who assist in finalising compensation claims quickly and efficiently.

 

Ben comes from a distinguished legal family. His Father is a Harvard Graduate, Family Law Specialist and past President (Family Law) in the Law Council of Australia. His Uncle is the serving Chief Justice of the Tasmanian Supreme Court, and both of his Grandfathers held prestigious appointments including Supreme Court Judge and President of the Law Council.

Fortunately for SLL, Ben prefers helping real people in a local firm rather than sitting in a Sydney hi-rise.

 

In his spare time, you can find Ben with his wife and two young children at nippers, playing cricket for Lennox Head or surfing at his local break.
