John Gibson

John Gibson is an experienced general practitioner and litigator, with particular interest in Property Law and Estate Planning.  In recent times, he has concentrated most of his work in resolving complex cases in Property disputes, Estate litigation and Estate Planning.

John offers comprehensive advice in Estate Planning and is experienced in drafting complex wills, Testamentary Trusts, Trust Deeds and Deeds of Family arrangement.

John ran a sole practice for some 25 years and is now practicing as a consultant to this firm.

As a sole practitioner, John gained years of experience in most aspects of the legal profession including in addition to the above, Family Law, Criminal Law and Commercial transactions. John’s dispute resolutions skills extend over the entirety of the pre-litigation stage up to the commencement of court proceedings.

Prior to becoming a Lawyer, John worked in a variety of jobs including being a Customs Officer in Sydney in the late 1980’s.

John was awarded a Bachelor of Arts/Science in 1984 (Major in Chemistry and Education) and Bachelor of Legal Studies 1992 from Macquarie University and a Diploma of Legal Practice at UTS.
