Sol Ibrahim

Sol Ibrahim practices in Local Government and Planning Law. Prior to joining the legal profession, Sol served as the CEO of a regional corporation, as a Byron Shire Councillor, and as a company Director. He completed his practical training within a Council’s in-house legal team. This background has given him unique insight into the workings of Local Government, and the challenges facing businesses and individuals interacting with the highly regulated planning law space.

With over 25 years of experience living and working in our region, Sol can collaborate with a wide network of town planners, certifiers and architects, enabling him to provide his clients with comprehensive pre-lodgement and post-lodgement legal advice.

Sol is committed to providing practical, results-driven solutions, and takes a highly personalised approach to every case he handles. He is happy to attend on-site meetings, communicate with a client’s planners and certifiers, participate in dispute resolution meetings, and represent applicants at Council meetings.

Sol has a strong commitment to community involvement and is currently serving as a founding Board member of Northern Rivers Rail Trail Inc.
