It is with great sadness and regret that we advise you of the passing of our past partner, consultant, mentor and friend, Daniel Ernest McOmish.
Dan was a beloved member of SLL, having become a Partner in the mid 1980’s. He semi- retired in 2011 but thereafter remained as a consultant with the firm up until his death.
Dan was an active member of the community being involved in numerous clubs, teams and committees including his beloved Ballina Golf Club.
Dan was an absolute asset to the firm and possessed a broad and deep knowledge and understanding of the law. He only ever sought to apply the law fairly and to bring about practical and just results for his clients. Many of his clients became his friends. He was a patient mentor to many of us in the Ballina office over many years.
It was a privilege working alongside him. He has left us with wonderful memories, both professionally and personally. He will be deeply missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
