Cassandra Keogh
Senior Associate
Cassandra was born and raised in the Northern Rivers and holds strong ties to the Far North Coast community. She completed a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (Sociology) at the University of New England, graduating in 2017, and was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in the same year. Cassandra was subsequently admitted to the High Court of Australia in 2020.
After commencing her legal career at Somerville Laundry Lomax Solicitors, Cassandra broadened her professional experience overseas, spending three years living and working in the United Kingdom. During this time, she worked in legal recruitment before practising as a lawyer with the UK Government Legal Department, where she gained valuable experience advising on complex and high-level legal matters. This international experience strengthened her problem-solving skills and further shaped her practical, solution focused approach to legal practice.
Cassandra has experience across a range of legal areas, including family law and commercial law. Presently, Cassandra primarily practices family law matters where she understands that family law disputes can be emotionally and financially challenging, and she is committed to guiding clients through the process with compassion, clarity and professionalism. Cassandra is known for her empathetic approach and her focus on achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients through negotiation where appropriate, and litigation when necessary.
Outside of work, Cassandra enjoys travelling, experiencing new cultures, and is an avid runner. She remains community minded and values maintaining strong connections within the local region.
