Max Ward

Max holds a Bachelor of Arts/Laws (Honours) from the University of Queensland and was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2026.

Having grown up in Brisbane, Max moved to the Northern Rivers in 2021 with a plan to stay ‘temporarily’ but quickly developed a strong sense of connection to the region and decided to make it home. Max joined Somerville Laundry Lomax in 2025 as part of the Commercial Law team before transitioning into Litigation. Max brings dedicated expertise to our team, practicing in workers’ compensation and personal injury law.

Max is passionate about the law and its potential to make a positive difference in people’s lives and is committed to helping clients through their legal challenges.

Outside of work, Max enjoys spending time on his farm, surfing, playing tennis and making the most of the Northern Rivers’ beaches, hinterland and natural beauty.
